One of my favorite parts of the process starts at the design phase. To look at an existing piece or think of a new design, draw it and determine the best way to execute construction is exciting. Often times woodworking is like a mental puzzle, and the techniques determined to make a piece are often as much fun as creating the piece itself. 

Working with a customer to design what they are looking for, and receiving immense appreciation for the piece when it is delivered, is truly an amazing feeling.
